We are getting very close to Halloween and the end of October! I would like to give a special thank you to the students and parents who prepared a regional cuisine for the students to sample as part of our Five Themes of Geography Project. The students were so proud of what they created and many students said this was one of their favorite projects to work on this year. I know many students mentioned they got to try a new food for the first time and lots of students got to share a food that is special to their families' culture. Grades for this activity will be uploaded soon. IMPORTANT REMINDER: Both 7th and 8th grade will have a test at the end of this week.
Good morning students and parents! This week we are finishing our units in 7th and 8th grades in preparation for unit tests in both grades. Students in 7th Grade will begin their unit test on "How Geographers Look at the World" on Thursday; 8th Grade will have their "Colonization and Settlement" test on Friday, October 27th.

We are wrapping up our first units of the year within the next few weeks in both grades and will have unit tests coming up. Make sure your notebook is up to date for the unit test!
