This week 8th Grade will be finishing up our study of the first 13 colonies and adding in a special investigation on October 31st about the Salem Witch Trials. The Quizizz for 8th Grade this week is a geographic review of the colonies; the code is 661156 and it is due Friday. 7th Grade is continuing our new unit "Green Cities" about urban planning and the features of modern cities. The Quizizz for 7th Grade this week is a review of new vocabulary; the code is 020953 and it is due Friday. Our week will look like this:

It's been a very busy October and we are nearly to Halloween. We will be having a Halloween party at the end of the day on Thurs. 10/31 after the parade. Please stay tuned for sign-up information. This will be an eventful week for both 7th & 8th Grades; this week we start off with our field trip to the African American History Museum in Washington D.C. on Monday and the Ghost Musical for 8th Grade on Thursday. Friday will be an In-Service Day for Teachers. In class, 7th Grade will have their first Unit Test on Tuesday. Please make sure students review the Study Guide. There will also be a Notebook Check so students also must have their Interactive Notebooks updated. There is no Quizizz this week for 7th Grade. 8th Grade has wrapped up the First English Colonies and will be moving to the 13 original colonies this week. First Unit Test will be coming up soon!
