Wednesday, March 4th - 7th Grade: Why People Trade Test and Notebook Check Thursday, March 5th - 8th Grade: Continue Founding Father Presentations in Auditorium if needed, Constitutional Convention Notes & Great Compromise Activity Friday, March 6th - No School We also have another short week as teachers and students are off on Friday, 3/6. Trimester 2 ends on Thursday, 3/5 (meaning this is the last day to turn in any missing assignments). Teachers must have grades in by Monday, 3/9. Last week a flyer went home in Thurs. folders informing students of a "Pi Bee" on Friday, 3/13. This competition will see who can recite the most digits of pi from memory. Winner will get to enjoy a pizza with four of their friends sometime during the following week. We will also be having many other fun, interactive activities on that day to refresh our memories about what pi is and how we use it to find area and circumference of circles. Mr. Persinger is creating a Sign-Up list for pies for students to bring in and enjoy during the Pi Bee. This will take place immediately after lunch in the cafeteria on Friday, 3/13. Students will also be participating in a cross-curricular scavenger hunt (weather permitting) on Friday 3/13. Have a great week!
