Good morning students and parents! This week we will be getting into our new units in 7th & 8th Grade - 8th graders will be looking at the first presidential administrations of the United States and exploration of the Louisiana Territory; students in 7th grade will be simulating countries experiencing scarcity and trade relationships.
*This Thursday students in both grades will be visiting Dover for a Skating Field Trip.
Happy rainy Monday morning! Students are starting new units in both 7th and 8th Grade this week and should be finishing tests for the Human World unit in 7th Grade and the Creating a Republic unit in 8th Grade. After the given class time for their test, students who do not finish in class have a week to complete their tests in workroom, elective, or after school.
With notebooks due on Wednesday in 7th Grade after their test, I have uploaded pictures of what their notebooks should look like. Monday: 7th Grade - Finish Notebooks; review for Human World Test with Quizizz Tuesday: 8th Grade - Westward Expansion and Sectionalism Unit Notebook Setup Wednesday: 7th Grade - Human World Test and Notebook Check (see rubric on page 49 for requirements or Gallery below) Thursday: 8th Grade - Defining the Presidency Notes Friday: 7th Grade - Why Trade? Unit Notebook Setup Welcome back! I hope everyone had a relaxing Spring Break and is ready to finish off this year right! We only have a few months left of school, so it is very important that we finish strong! Students in 7th Grade will be presenting Government Propaganda Projects this week and preparing for their tests. Students in 8th Grade are finishing their unit on the birth of the American Government and will be testing on Friday.
